All law enforcement stakeholders play a key role in protecting the integrity of Canada’s mortgages. Authorities are becoming increasingly cognizant of the fact that those involved in mortgage fraud investigations need to work collaboratively at improving outcomes for Canadian victims of mortgage fraud.
For the first time, the Canadian Police College is offering the Specialized Financial Investigative Course on “Mortgage Fraud” . This five-day course will give participants a new perspective on Mortgage Fraud investigation. Through real-life case studies and extensive participant interaction, this new course focuses on the strategic involvement of all agencies across the law enforcement spectrum in combating white collar crime.
Police officers and financial institutions officials who have investigative responsibilities and work closely with police services to pursue criminal prosecution.
