A police leader today must be good at getting the resources he or she needs to meet increasingly complex police operations. That leader also has to manage the budget to maximum effect, ensuring full accountability along the line and building trust and confidence for future needs. This takes a bevy of skills that you don’t learn on the line. Holding your people to account and making the right budget and resource decisions is an increasing challenge in the police world.
Leading this workshop is Andrew Graham who teaches financial management at Queens University and has extensive experience as a line manager in criminal justice. He frequent ly teaches at the CPC covering this topic, risk management, people management and governance. He combines dynamic and highly interactive presentations with hands-on work as well as guests to round out the continuous dialogue.
Workshop Costs, including breaks, lunches, and one dinner: $1275
