Description

Indigenous gangs are a relatively new and growing concern for police agencies in Canada. This course looks at the unique characteristics of Indigenous gangs and the development of integrated police prevention, intervention and suppression approaches. Students come out with a deeper understanding of Indigenous gangs, allowing them to become more effective in their duties and in their ability to build awareness at work and within the community.
